The album includes a cover of Opal's, "Fell From the Sun," and was produced by John Fryer and Gil Norton. Remastered for vinyl for the first time in over two decades, this record is pressed on high quality, European vinyl. This is the first ever U.S. release of The Comforts Of Madness on vinyl, the way it was meant to be heard/5().

Across the album, crushing shoegaze guitars ebb and flow, bass lines worm and drums fizz, only letting up for tender moments like the balladic “Little Hammer”. It’s a sprawling LP of ambitious indie, pushing both instruments and the mixing desk to extremes, masterfully streamlined into a near-continuous soundscape with each song graciously giving way to the next.

 · Late ’80s British indie band Pale Saints see their debut album The Comforts of Madness expanded and reissued on CD and vinyl formats, in January. The band were very much part of the so-called ‘Shoegaze’ scene and the debut album was issued on 4AD in
