As a previous reviewer noted, these two EPs don't especially fit together played one after another, but I'm just happy to have been able to buy them in CD format.

There are no tracks that I dislike. I'm not doing a track by track review, others have done that and I've not got time. Overall Burial is dark, yet sometimes also strangely happy, moody, mesmeric, bassy. Takes you to another world. This guy creates true compositions that the word "track" although technically correct just doesn't do justice to. Buy it! I had not heard of Burial before I listened to the CD extracts following an Amazon recommendation based on my other many and varied musical purchases.

It is a quite superb CD and has a rather unique ambient feel at times interspersed with strong hypnotic rhythms and soulful lyrical input where the voice tends to be used rather more like an additional instrument. After buying this I now own all four CDs currently available. This has to be my favourite CD of the year so far. It is quite beautiful from start to finish; atmospheric and stimulating in equal parts.
