Ends with a moving Attics. Digipak artwork looks great. The full box set was a limited edition and it sold out pretty fast with good reason. This may be latter-day Dead which is a much different proposition from the fire-eating monster of early Dead, but it is very good-to-excellent mature music making with some pyrotechnics thrown in-albeit electronically processed pyros. I personally think this is really the last consistent period of great Dead shows. To me, the magic was lost generally by with only a few great shows in uneven tours.

This collection gives the more casual fan a great taste of spring I was lucky enough to get the full box set which I treasure but purchased this on vinyl for quick listening of some of the highlights on my trusty turntable.

The package is first rate also-very collectable item. Great tour!! I really hate it that I didn't catch these guys live til ,Brent was an integral part of this band at that point and his loss was a serious blow to the flow of the band,if your a fan of Without a Net then buy this, you won't be disappointed.

One person found this helpful. My only minor issue with this release is that it sounds like a "live to two track" i. Dick's Picks style recording versus a fully-mixed mutli-track recording like Dozin at the Knick. This is not necessarily a bad thing - I was just under the impression that the full box set from which this was culled was mixed and mastered from multi-track tapes so I assumed this one would be as well.

If you want the song by song review there are others that offer that. I will give you the high level summary review. Has a low start but works into a good flow.

I guess I was looking for something I hadn't heard before but I think I've come to that point in Dead shows where everything is starting to sound the same. If you're a seasoned Dead Head maybe move on but this is good for anyone who doesn't have the big collection. It's decent and, yes, sound quality could be better. I downloaded the album before it was canceled so when it was I got charged for the mp3.

I never would have purchased the mp3. Amazing tour a must have. My favorite feels like a stranger. This cd sounds fantatic. Good song selection and great playing.

Im glad I got it. You wont be disapointed. See all reviews. Top reviews from other countries. Translate all reviews to English. I'm certainly not a Deadhead; a Deadhead being the accepted name for die-hard fans of the band and who, if they can afford, buy every single an inappropriate word given that most of their releases are multi-volume live sets thing issued.

I most certainly do not. I doubt if I own more than a quarter of their live output. True, I also have the two massive box sets of their official major label releases with lots of extra tracks but that doesn't make me a Deadhead.

I most certainly have not nor have I any intention of buying any of the massive live sets like the complete Europe 72 concerts or the one from which this collection is culled.

But equally I can't deny that I'm a big fan and they are my favourite band. The Deadite is an enthusiast GD fan but not obsessively so. Energetic Happy Hypnotic. Romantic Sad Sentimental. Sexy Trippy All Moods. Drinking Hanging Out In Love.
