My favorite non-single song is "Train Kept A-Rollin' ". This song should have been at least on the "B" side of a "45" but it was not.

I think it was overlooked somehow. I recommend this disc to anyone looking for a great Yardbirds disc. When this record came out I was more into Blues and soul music. Which meant I loved the stones also. This one was different and though it took some repetitive listening on my part this album represented to me the beginning of a new types of music.

Blues songs that were not really bluesy and big guitar work.. Still a great time piece Fantastic Album. Shape of things, I'm a man,and train kept a rollin.

Jeff Beck!!! Good old british blues rock with an attitude!!!! Wow, this album's cool! Actually I used to hate the Yardbirds for some reason. No wait, that's not true. I used to just think they were irrelevant and pointless. Let me be specific. Like, since we have Led Zeppelin we can just dismiss the Yardbirds. That was silly thinking I admit. Selfish, close-minded, ignorant thinking. I mean seriously, why convince myself not to listen to a piece of music under any circumstances?

So silly. This was clearly when I was going through a biased Led Zeppelin phase. Biased in the sense that nobody better mess with my Led Zeppelin! You probably know the type- I was actually that kind of music fan. Obsessed with one artist and immediately dismissing anything else. Official Charts.
